Food assistance
In July, we delivered 1,572 kg of food to 4 evacuated shelters from the Donetsk region, which are now caring for hundreds of rescued cats and dogs.
1) We delivered 50 kg of Practik dry food and 200 kg of Mau Paw canned food to the NGO “Human Rights Initiative (HRI)”, evacuated from Dobropillia.
2) We purchased 300 kg of cereals for the NGO “Team of Zoovolunteers Lassie”, evacuated from Kostiantynivka. In addition, another 22 kg of pet food was collected for the shelter thanks to Valeriia, who asked her wedding guests to bring food for the animals instead of wedding gifts.
3) We also received significant support from U-Hearts - 1 tonne of pet food: 600 kg for dogs and 400 kg for cats. We distributed this food between two evacuated shelters: the NGO “Druzhkivka - Territory of Kindness” and the Charitable Organization “Charitable Foundation Myrnohrad Animals” (CO CF Myrnohrad Animals). Each shelter received 300 kg of dog food and 200 kg of cat food.
We are grateful to U-Hearts, Valeriia and her guests, as well as everyone who supports our foundation and helps us provide food for animals rescued from the war. Thanks to your support, we can continue helping the animals and the volunteers who care for them every day.
